Camping Geversduin  is about 4 km from the beach of Heemskerk. In the summer months you will find the 'Vrijheit' beach pavilion at Heemskerk beach.

You can walk or cycle through the woods and dunes onto the beach. Cycle a little further or drive approximately 12 minutes by car to Castricum aan Zee. The beach of Castricum aan Zee can be divided into two parts; the 'Busy' Beach and the 'Silent' Beach

The 'busy'  beach is easily accessible by car via the Zeeweg (N513). Near the beach entrance is a large parking lot for a relatively small payment (€ 6.50 per day in the summer months). The 'busy' beach has many hospitality facilities, including various beach bars, restaurants and a surf school. the 'Silent' Beach is located south of the The 'busy'  beach and can only be reached by bicycle or by foot through the forest and the dunes.
