Towards spring we always look forward to the Sunday markets in the village center of Castricum. Also called the summer market or seasonal market.
In the months of April to August there is a lively fair once a month on Sunday. Spread over the streets: Burgemeester Mooijstraat, Torenstraat, Bakkerspleintje and Dorpsstraat, there are nice and varied market stalls with a diversity of products.
The Sunday market sometimes also focuses on a theme, such as the Kleedjesmarkt, where the children can sell their things on the Bakkerspleintje, or the always successful Old-timer market, then the Torenstraat is full of the most beautiful old-timers.
There is regularly live music on the Dorpsplein after the market. Get a drink at the surrounding restaurants such as Johnny's Café, Balu, Restaurant Brutaal and enjoy the music and conviviality.
