The Plastic Huis is a unique holiday home, for the biggest part constructed with plastic found at the beach of Castricum. And you know what's even better? It is hard to notice this at all! The bungalow breathes luxury and the focus lays completely on comfort. During a stay in this sustainable accommodation you'll be doing good for the environment ánd for yourself! Dogs are welcome here.
Both outside as inside materials are mostly sustainable. Think of tables and cutting boards made of recycled PET, kitchen cabinets from reused wood, dining chairs of ocean plastics... The bed is made of recycled cardboard, the sofa consist of leather leftovers, even the curtains are made out of old plastic bottles. Watch here how all those plastics were molted for the production of this tiny house.
A comfortable stay is guaranteed in the cozy and sustainable Plastic Huis. The big, modern kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped and provided with everything you'll need. There are two bedrooms, of which one contains a double bed and the other a bunk bed. Inside is a nice place to have dinner after which you'll be able to watch your favourite movie on the snug couch. Outside you may enjoy the sun on your own patio or have a nice meal with the family at the picnic table. And, our favourite place: rinse yourself under the outdoor shower after a beachday!

Parking
On the days of arrival and departure, you may drive your car to the accommodation to (un)load. During your stay, the car must be put at the parking lot to limit car traffic.
