I heard you have a house made entirely of plastic. Is that true?
That's right! These are the Plastic Houses. Europe's first holiday homes built with plastic waste from the beach of Castricum. Sustainable materials have been used inside, such as recycled plastic for cutting boards, PET bottles for curtains, reused wood for kitchen cabinets, 'ocean bound plastic' for dining chairs, leather scraps for the sofa and beds made from 100% recyclable cardboard.
What's the name of that guy who always goes fishing with the kids?

Do you have a supermarket on the campsite?
On the center square you will find our Minimarket. Here you can go for fresh rolls, croissants and other delicacies. Our assortment consists of artisanal and regional products with an organic twist, so that there is something tasty for everyone!
Do you have a restaurant on the campsite?
Yes! Knoest Eten en Drinken is our cozy, child-friendly restaurant on the campsite with a spacious terrace on the Centrumplein. The restaurant lies directly the playgrounds and is thé place to relax. Come enjoy delicious food and drinks, or celebrate your party with us. And another top tip: try our own Noest beer or a tough, refreshing Geversgin!
Do you have your own bike rental?
Certainly! At the reception you can rent bikes to explore the area. You can also easily reserve them via the reception, the My Geversduin website or the app. We offer a wide range of bikes, including models for both children and adults, electric bikes and tandems.
I am not staying at your campsite. Can I still come and play paddle?
Of course! The good thing is that you don't have to take out a membership, but can simply rent the court and equipment at a time that suits you. So come by soon for a game of padel. Want to know more about our padel court? Check the page.
When does the campsite open?
Camping Geversduin is open from the end of March to the end of October. The camping is closed during the winter period, but the reception remains accessible all year round.
From what age can I come camping with you?
Without parents or guardians, you may come camping with us from the age of 21 . Please note that Camping Geversduin is a family campsite and for this reason young people camping without supervision cannot be admitted.
Can I stay with you with a group?

Do you still have seasonal pitches available?
How nice that you are interested in a seasonal pitch! Seasonal camping at camping Geversduin is popular and for this reason we usually use a list of interested parties. Whether we still do that, you can find here.
What time can I check in and out for an accommodation?
You are welcome to check in to our accommodations from 3:00 PM. Check out is at 10:00 AM.

Can I also book for 1 night?
At camping Geversduin you can book from a minimum of 2 nights, with the exception of high season periods or during arrangements such as Easter or Ascension Day. If you only want to stay 1 night at the camping, you can just drop by on the day itself, but always contact the reception first if there's any vacancy. It is possible that the camping is fully booked on the day of choice. We do not book single nights in advance.
What time can I check in and out for a camping spot?
If you have reserved a camping spot, you can check in from 2:00 PM and check out is at 12:00 PM.
How can I check if my reservation was successful?
Your booking is only confirmed when you have received a reservation confirmation from us with a booking number. Did you not receive any e-mail from us? Check your spam box or contact the reception.
Where can I view and pay my invoices?
You can view the payments due and invoices via My Geversduin. Here you can also pay for your reservations or rent facilities.
Can I arrange cancellation insurance with you?
Camping Geversduin does not offer cancellation insurance.
Can I cancel my reservation free of charge?
If you want to cancel your stay, this is done according to the RECRON conditions. The percentages applicable therein will then be charged. The shorter before arrival the holiday is cancelled, the higher the percentage to pay will be. You can find these conditions here. We kindly request that you always contact the reception in case of cancellation.
When is it quiet at the campsite?
To ensure that everyone can enjoy a good night's sleep, we ask our guests to be considerate of the neighbours after 22:00. A tent or caravan offers less privacy than an insulated house, which makes sounds such as television and social gatherings more audible. We therefore ask you to take this into account and to minimise the noise. In this way we hope that everyone can enjoy a wonderful holiday and come home refreshed!
Can I drive onto the campsite with my car?
Standard one car per booking has access to the campsite and the parking lot. Depending on where you stay, access to the campsite is only on the day of arrival and departure, or during your entire stay. The barrier works automatically based on license plate. The campsite barrier is open from 07:00 to 22:00, while the parking lot is accessible 24 hours a day. Guest are free, but visitors pay to park in that parking lot. The first half hour is on us. A maximum speed of 5 km/h applies on the campsite. Motorcycles and scooters are not allowed on the site; parking is safe next to the reception.
I don't have a reservation with you. Can I still come and visit for a day?
Would be fun! The first parking lot is free and open during the day. Rather park closer to our campsite? We welcome visitors at the reception. A parking ticket for the lot with the supervised gate can be purchased for a certain fee. The first half hour is on us!
Is it possible to check out of an accommodation later?
Please contact reception. The accommodation may still be available after your stay. If this is not the case, late check-out is unfortunately not possible due to cleaning work.
Is it possible to check out later from a camping spot?
Are you not ready to go home yet and do you want to enjoy your camping spot all day? Then we advise you to book an extra day. Otherwise we cannot guarantee that you can stay longer. You can always consult with the reception on the day of departure in the low season, when the spot remains free, you might book some extra time on that day. Of course you can park your car the rest of the day in the parking lot next to the reception so you are able to head out some more.
How many people can stay on one camping spot?
A maximum of 6 people may stay overnight per camping spot. If family members or friends want to use your camping equipment, they must first ask permission at reception. We ask everyone to leave the camping spot tidy upon departure.
I received a dune card. What do I need it for?
The campsite is located in the beautiful North Holland Dune Reserve. To enter this reserve you need a dune card. If you camp with us, you will receive this via e-mail from us upon arrival.
Can I make a fire at the campsite?
Here we have to be strict: fires are not allowed on the campsite. Be wise and prevent spreading flames. Open fires, such as wood fires or charcoal barbecues, are not allowed.
Is barbecuing allowed at the campsite?
Barbecuing is allowed! We kindly ask you to do this with a gas or electric barbecue because we are staying in a vulnerable dune area and fire is prohibited.
What camping equipment is allowed?
You are most welcome with a tent, trailer/folding tent, camper van or touring caravan. We ask you to use one main camping device per pitch. Do you have a small extra tent? No problem! This can be arranged in consultation.
